The Good Growth Foundation was established to ensure the UK thrives on the world stage.
We want growth that makes people’s lives better. Jobs, Housing and public services no longer create the security and living standards that people need. We are here to provide answers on how to deliver the changes necessary and how to talk about the economy in a way that makes sense to the public.
Our approach focuses on what matters most to people. Through polling, focus groups and policy analysis we drive the conversation on how to deliver popular solutions to the UK’s decade of lost growth.
The Third Rail of British Politics
How to repair the UK-EU relationship without getting burned
May 2025
Our latest report confronts the third rail of British politics: the UK-EU relationship. While politicians fear touching it, the public is already rethinking our future with Europe. We didn’t assume what kind of UK-EU relationship is needed — we asked people directly. They want economic security, national safety and practical cooperation. Not a rerun of old arguments. Read the report to understand the political risks of a closer relationship with Europe, and how to overcome them.
Parliamentary Launch
Following the publication of our foundational report, Mind the Growth Gap, we held our public launch in Parliament. The Good Growth Foundation was joined by over 150 politicians, business leaders and journalists, who heard from Health Secretary Wes Streeting and Exchequer Secretary James Murray. We were also joined by Dan Tomlinson MP, the National Champion for the Government’s growth mission, Chris Curtis MP, Co-Chair of Labour Growth Group, and Helena Dollimore MP.
