From the 8am scramble to get a GP appointment to agonisingly long waiting lists, the NHS is unraveling and people are fed up with the chaos.

The Good Growth Foundation’s research found 55% of British adults support a windfall tax on private healthcare, while only 17% oppose. It is time to rebalance the system so patients aren’t forced to pay out of pocket for care that should be free. With smart investment in innovation, prevention and technology, we can build a public health system that works for everyone - free at the point of use, universal and fit for the future.
